We’ve made it through the darkest time, and we can feel the rising light. We will mark these cross-quarter days (the time between winter solstice and spring equinox) with deep reverence, and give thanks for the insight and wisdom that came from within the quiet of darkness.

The cost of this retreat is $500. This ticket is a non-refundable $200 deposit, which registers you and holds your place.

Please bring $300 in cash to the event. This is a new protocol for select events.

Please arrive by noon on Friday Jan 30th so you have ample time for registration, orientation and rest. Expect sacrament, silence, meditation, visualization, and carefully crafted songs, all in a nurturing and caring atmosphere.  We sit on Friday and Saturday evening, with food to follow. In the mornings we will cook breakfast together and hold a speaking circle. Throughout the weekend we will care for the land and our communal spaces through seva – cooking and cleaning for the benefit of all. We will adjourn by 2pm on Sunday Feb 1st.

Are we a good fit for you?

We encourage all who are involved in these practices to check into the lineage, experience and background of your potential facilitator and staff/helpers. We’re happy to answer questions of that nature to help you make sure that we are good fit.

Orientation & Lodging Details

Orientation emails, WTB, and food and lodging information will be sent to registrants by October 10th

Please Register before January 18

You must register before January 18. If we cancel the event for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel for any reason, you will receive credit towards a future GDC event.

Health

Please monitor your health carefully leading up to attending events. We often have elders and those who are in delicate dances with health attending.  We ask that all attendees take extra steps to stay in good health for 2 weeks prior to the event, avoiding highly contagious situations, and stressors to mind and body.

Respecting sensitivities

Please avoid using strong scents (even organic oils) such as perfumes and Agua Florida water cologne when here at our venue. Avoid scented soaps and shampoos. We will be in a heightened state of sensitivity during our time together.
